About Election Madness
Election Madness allows registered users to predict the 2008 United States Presidential Election. Users can make as many predictions as they want, but only one (their "default") counts toward the overall consensus. The site also offers members the option of creating pools, which their friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, etc. can join. Pools allow users to compete against each other.
Election Madness is the brain-child of Steve Calderwood. Although he originally conceived of the idea in 2005 as a way to keep track of electoral predictions, the idea did not come into fruition until late-October 2008.
